Once upon a time, there lived a little girl who loved to slip her tiny feet into her mama’s shoes, and strut around the house like the diva she knew she would grow up to be. Her love for shoes only grew deeper as she grew older, and she lived happily ever after in her shoe-dom.
Now that’s not a fairytale we’ll find in any children’s book, strategically displayed next to Cinderella on any book shelf. However, I’ll tell you this-that’s definitely a story my
waaaaay into the future grandkids will hear every so often. *chuckle*
See, I’ve always loved the whole production that is getting dressed up. I’ve been known to get all dolled up, shoes included, even when I don’t have anywhere in particular to go. Strutting around my house in heels is definitely not a rare occurrence. Where am I going with this, you might be wondering? I’m getting to it, hold your horses lol.
See, I had to practice walking in these beautiful but insanely high, pointy-toed stiletto heels before I ventured out in public. I don’t know about you, but tripping over my own feet, or worse still, breaking an ankle is not one of my life goals.
So after a few sessions of “Stiletto Bootcamp,” I felt quite ready to conquer the real world runway. All went well, save for the fact that I dared to disrespect these beauties by walking in the grass, and consequently got one heel stuck in a dewy grass patch for a brief moment. Thankfully that was short lived, and the show went on as planned. At this point, I’m quite comfortable with the general feel of these beauties, and dare I say, I can strut a mean catwalk with them on. *3 finger snaps* All in all, they’re easy on the feet and easy on the eyes. That’s a match made in shoe heaven, if you ask me.
