Hey there friend! Welcome aboard today’s episode of ‘What I Wore!”
Joggers have stealthily worked their way into many style circles. I for one love the level of comfort joggers provide. I most recently paired them with sneakers/trainers and a casual top; however, this time around I decided to switch things up just a tad. I kept the overall look relatively simple, but chic nonetheless. I chose to pair my favorite go-to denim joggers with a peach lace crop top I purchased from a vintage store a while ago. Not one to be left behind, I jumped on the choker bandwagon, and opted for a gold plated one to add an air of sophistication to the overall look. For footwear, I chose these delightfully comfortable Jessica Simpson heels
from a previous season.
If you’re an avid follower of my style posts, I’m sure by now you’re aware of the fact that I love versatility. Being able to wear an outfit in multiple settings is definitely a personal styling goal of mine . This particular outfit, for example, is one that I’ve won everywhere from day to evening events. I have paired it with a fitted blazer for an ultra-chic look. I have dressed it down with sandals for a more casual look. I have paired it with a button-down shirt, bow-tie, suspenders and loafers for an androgynous look. I have paired it with a camisole and sky-high heels for an extra spicy look. I could pretty much go on for days…Long story short, get yourself a pair of joggers! Thank me later.
Now you know I will not just parade around this virtual catwalk and not let you in on how you can score pieces from this lookbook. So here goes…
This particular pair of Jessica Simpson heels is from a previous season and is therefore not currently available; however, below are a few similar pairs of shoes you can look into:
You can find similar joggers here:
Option 1 (Psssst this is from the guy’s section, but you can still pull them off)
As I mentioned earlier, the lace top was thrifted; however, I scoured the web and found similar ones.
Now that your outfit is sorted, you have my permission to go forth and be dapper. 🙂
