The Name Is Bond…

June 5, 2016

The name is Bond. Joy Bond. Cheesy much? *chuckle* This outfit has a James Bond feel to it that I absolutely love. I had a heck of a good time putting this menswear inspired outfit together. I’m a sucker for men’s accessories, and I’ve been known to incorporate them into my outfits. Think lapel pins and cuff links. I mean it’s not enough that ladies have a truck-load of accessories to play around with, I had to be Ms. Greedy and grab goodies from the men’s side too. It’s a free world, innit? I was recently in London and the word “innit” has been on my vocab replay list…but that’s a story for another blog. Focus, Joy.

When I purchased the navy blue blazer I’m wearing in this post, it was pretty ordinary-nothing to write home about.  I decided to jazz it up a tad by sewing on gold-toned buttons, which immediately gave the blazer a sophisticated look.  I paired the blazer with a simple blue chiffon blouse, and a pair of bright red shorts. I kept my accessories relatively simple with a nautical inspired brooch, a simple gold chain,  a large watch, and topped it off with a pair of classic aviators.

I chose to keep my footwear simple as well with a pair of animal print loafers that added an air of femininity to the otherwise androgynous outfit.  I like that the hint of red on the loafers was in sync with my red shorts.

I hope this look inspires you to dare to experiment with injecting menswear inspired pieces into your style. Now go forth and be dapper. 🙂

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any
problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?

My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my
agreement. Do you know any techniques to help protect against content from being ripped off?
    I’d truly appreciate it.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. Specific to your question about plagiarism, all I can say is actions have consequences, Unfortunately, there’s not always a way of knowing when one’s content has been lifted, and is being passed off as someone else’s own; however, when discovered, the guilty party may face legal repercussions. What type of content do you write?

Howdy this is kinda of off topic but I was
wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one!

It’s on a totally different topic but it has pretty much the same page
layout and design. Great choice of colors!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting
my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
