Luxe Ticket Price

Tickets cost $89 per person.

Luxe Ticket Menu

The Luxe ticket gives you 21 premium menu options, including seven exclusive offerings you won’t find on the smaller tier.

Your biggest upgrade is in the savory sandwiches department. You’ll get access to the Ahi Tuna Delight, Nautical Splendor Lobster Roll, and Napoleon Alaska (smoked salmon on toasted rye).

These elevated proteins feel like a proper splurge alongside options both tiers share, like the Garden Gala Chicken Soirée and Triple Crown Steak Stack.

For sweets, you’ll enjoy the Floral Fun Pop, Mini Lemon Meringue, Empire City Cheesecake, and Cream Puff.

You’ll also get the full scone experience with both plain and cranberry versions, plus mascarpone spread and preserves.

The tea selection is nearly identical to Luxe, with options like Hibiscus, Lemon Ginger, and Breakfast In Paris. The only tea you’ll miss is the Luxe-exclusive Refresh Rosé.

Our Experience at Tea Around Town Dallas

I booked this outing as a friend date with two of my friends, and we had the best time ever!

Arrival and Checking

I wasn’t sure what the parking situation would be like beforehand, so I played it safe and took an Uber.

Good news if you’re driving, though: there’s a parking lot near where the bus picks you up.

I got to the meeting point around 11:30 for our noon departure because I’m that person who’s always early.

Before boarding the bus

FYI: The meeting point is by the Old Red Museum, right across from the JFK Memorial.

The check-in process was super smooth. After a few minutes of lining up beside the bus, a Tea Around Town ticket attendant scanned our tickets and then gave us the green light to board the bus.

Boarding

At the bus door, another attendant confirmed our last names and our priority seating, then directed us to our assigned table.

We lucked out with what I will say with my full chest was the best seating area on the bus!

Now, here’s what surprised me: the top deck had an enclosed roof, but it was completely clear, so we still got amazing panoramic views.

The interior was gorgeous, featuring walls adorned with delicate florals and tables beautifully curated with gold cutlery and pink napkins.

Our sweet and savory treats were already waiting for us on those classic three-tiered trays. They even gave us free tumblers to sample the different premium teas throughout the tour.

The Tour

Our tour began promptly, and we hit the ground rolling. We nibbled on delectable treats and sipped fine teas as we cruised past iconic Dallas landmarks.

I was intentional about soaking in every moment. There is just something about romanticizing life and truly savoring experiences.

The real star of the show was our host, who also doubled as a singer. When soft background music wasn’t playing, she serenaded us with her Grammy-worthy voice. And when she wasn’t singing, she shared interesting facts about Dallas landmarks as we drove past.

It felt like a rolling tea party meets sightseeing tour, and the whole vibe was festive, social, and upscale without feeling stuffy.

The live entertainment, the gorgeous presentation, and the photo opportunities all came together to create a truly memorable day.

Sadly, our 90-minute tour went by entirely too fast. It felt like I blinked and it was over. Honestly, it was such a memorable way to spend an afternoon in Dallas. I’m still looking through all the pictures we took! I guess it is a valid reason to sign up for another Tea Around Town tour.

In my opinion, Tea Around Town Dallas is worth it. Will it be worth it for you? Well, that may depend on your expectations and priorities.

Based on my experience, it is a fun, unique, and visually stunning experience, especially if you’re after something memorable rather than a traditional gourmet tea tasting.

Unique Concept

One of the best parts of the tour is that it lets you take in downtown Dallas sights, while getting light commentary, without having to walk or navigate crowded streets.

Aesthetically Pleasing Setup and Luxurious Atmosphere

Great for Special Occasions and Groups

It’s a memorable option for birthdays, girls’ days, bridal showers, bachelorettes, casual outings with friends, or hosting out‑of‑town guests, especially if they like dressing up and themed experiences.

Fun Atmosphere, Service, and Entertainment

The host and attendants are fun and friendly. The live vocals and playful tea-party vibe make the 90‑minute ride feel like an elaborate event rather than just tea.

Tea Around Town Cons

Lack of Dedicated Parking for Guests

The bus operates out of the downtown Dallas area, which is known for its high parking fees.

No Shaded Waiting Areas

There are no shaded waiting areas while waiting for the bus. This can be an unpleasant experience on an extremely hot, cold, or rainy day.
