Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum is one of Dallas’ most anticipated fall events. It is also one of the best pumpkin patches in DFW!
This year, dive into the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village. It features a sea of 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash straight from Texas’ pumpkin capital — Floydada.
This year’s theme is ‘It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.’ Revel in the return of the Peanuts Gang, explore the renowned Pumpkin Village with its themed houses, and let the kids lose themselves in a fun-filled maze.

The St. James pumpkin patch is in partnership with Southwest-based farmers. Thousands of sizes, shapes, and types of pumpkins are available for purchase and photo ops.

Howell Farms Pumpkin Patch- Arlington
Howell Farms is a century-old family farm and is also the home of the popular Pumpkin Nights fall festival. The festival features a variety of carved and painted pumpkins, as well as some displayed in their natural beauty.
Schedule: September 21st- October 30th, 2023
Hours: 6: 00 PM- 11: 00 PM, daily.
Admission: Free for children 3 and under, and $15-$28 for all others. You must purchase tickets online in advance. Walk-up ticket sales are not guaranteed, as most time slots sell out.

Blase Family Farm Pumpkin Patch – Rockwall
Blase Family Farm is a small urban farm known for, among other things, its pumpkin patch in the fall. Pumpkins are available for sale, ranging in price from $1- $20.

Admission: Reservations are required. Tickets are $10 per person, free entry for children 23 months old and younger.

Pitchfork Pumpkin Farm – Royse City
Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch is a small family-owned pumpkin patch in Royse City, approximately 25 minutes from Dallas. In addition to pumpkins, they have gourds, dry corn, and hay.

Preston Trail Farms Pumpkin Patch – Gunter
Preston Trail Farms (The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm) located in Gunter, approximately 50 miles north of Dallas. This farm’s Dallas pumpkin patch season is open through Thanksgiving.
In addition to the pumpkins, activities include a hay bale maze, hay bales for photo ops, a petting zoo (farm animals), and hay ride experiences.
