ToggleWhat is iFLY Indoor Skydiving?
Owned by Outlier, iFLY indoor skydiving is a unique way to enjoy the thrill of skydiving without the need for parachutes, high altitudes, or jumping out of airplanes!
This modern indoor skydiving adventure entails floating in a 50-foot tall vertical wind tunnel of a wall-to-wall cushion of air. The airflow speeds of up to 171 mph, generated by a large fan, simulate a freefall skydiving flight experience. These powerful winds blow upwards through the floor of the wind tunnel and lift the person who is inside.
Fun Fact: The feeling of indoor skydiving is very similar to outdoor skydiving, and professional skydivers even use it to practice their skills.

Our Experience at iFLY
Our iFLY indoor skydiving experience at the Dallas location was certainly one for the books. We had such a great time on our first flights!
Once inside the flight chamber, it felt like nothing else mattered as we flew and experienced the sensation of floating freely in mid-air. The feeling of weightlessness after leaping into the column of wind was indescribable! We could feel our hearts racing with excitement as we soared through the air.
Throughout the session, our professional instructor helped guide us through different positions and maneuvers. He would give us tips on how to control our movements.
With guidance, we were able to confidently navigate around the tunnel as if we were skydiving outdoors – only this time without needing a parachute! Our indoor skydiving debut was as close to the real thing (outdoor skydiving) as we could get!
All in all, we had the best time, and we did not want it to end! It will certainly remain one of our fondest memories ever.
The only thing we would change would be to have longer flight sessions. Those 60 seconds per flight went by entirely too fast!
