From the moment we stepped through the doors of this luxurious oasis, we knew we were in for a treat that would leave us feeling refreshed and renewed.
The Ambience
Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by Stonebriar Spa’s tranquil atmosphere.
The warm and inviting decor, complete with soothing water features, cozy seating areas, and quiet treatment rooms set the tone for a truly relaxing experience.
The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and hospitality, making us feel right at home.
Check-in
After a brief consultation to understand our needs and preferences, we opted for a combination of services. These included a 60-minute couples massage, a 60-minute facial (for Joy), and a couples pedicure.
We were then guided to the changing rooms (separate his and hers), where we changed into our spa-issued robes and sandals.
Once our personal belongings were secured in tamper-proof lockers, we followed a spa attendant to our couple’s suite treatment room.
The Massage Experience
The massage room was the epitome of tranquility, with dimmed lighting and calming music. It was the perfect setup for one of the best massages we have had in a while!
Upon comparing notes after our one-hour service massages, we both agreed that the therapists’ techniques melted away the tension in our muscles, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The skilled therapists tailored each treatment to our specific concerns and individual needs, ensuring a personalized and relaxing experience.
The Facial Rejuvenation
Next, I (Joy) was treated to a luxurious one-hour facial that was specifically tailored to my skin type. I have combination skin, so parts of it can be too dry or too oily.
The esthetician analyzed my skin type and concerns, selecting the perfect products and techniques to address my facial needs.
The goal is to have healthy ‘glass skin’ and boy, did we attain that goal!
By the end of the session, my skin tone was glowing like a glazed donut. The results were phenomenal!
The esthetician graciously offered me many great products to use at home to ensure I continued to maintain the best version of my skin, beyond my spa treatment.
The Pedicures
In keeping with our desire for head-to-toe pampering, our last treatments of the day were pedicures. We made our way to the spa’s nail therapy lounge where we settled into the pedicure massage chairs.
Joy received a full-on exfoliation, moisturizing, natural nail care, and nail polish application, while Hugh kept it simple, sticking to exfoliation and moisturizing his feet.
